30th Annual Members' Show (2012)

The 30th Annual Members’ Exhibition is a celebration of the visual arts community on North Vancouver Island. The exhibition comprises original art work created by a diverse group of artists who are members of the Campbell River Art Gallery and Campbell River Arts Council.  Congratulations to all the participants, especially those artists whose work was selected for Awards of Excellence, Award of Merit and Honourable Mention. We would like to thank Mayor Walter Jakeway and Councilor Ron Kerr who presented the awards. We would like to thank Shook Wickham Bishop Field, CR Lawyers, who sponsored the show and Impressions Art Supplies & Framing and The Framing Post who supplied prizes for the two top winners. We would also like to thank Jurors Gaye Adams, Miel Creasey and Shannon McKirgan for performing such a difficult task in having to pick the winners; Brian Kyle for photographing all the entries; Richard Calver, Gary Dobbs and Shannon Proctor McLeod for hanging a show that is always very challenging; and last, but not least, that to all those who participated. It is your art that keeps us alive!
