The 29th Annual Members' Exhibition

The 29th Annual Members’ Exhibition was a resounding success with 79 pieces of art displayed.

Two Awards of Excellence were handed out: the first to Dawn Mahaney Palmerley for ‘Exposure of Man;’ the second to Peter Davies ‘Soup Kitchen.’ Prizes for the two Awards of Excellence were donated by Impressions Art Supplies & Framing and The Framing Post.

The six Awards of Merit went to: Dianne Bersea's acrylic 'Beach morning;' Karen Martin Sampson’s oil painting ‘To Tell a Story;’ Lyndia Terre’s graphite on paper ‘Grasses;’ Martin Kowalchuk’s mixed media/found objects ‘Catch and Release;’ and Carolyn Hunter’s textile ‘Migration.’

As well six Honourable Mentions were given out to: Angela Hanuse’s watercolour ‘Reflections;’ Sioux Hartle’s fused glass ‘Regrowth;’ Carol Seeley’s textile ‘Portal I: Il Collosseo di Pompei;’ Judy Lloyd’s acrylic ‘See Thru Legs;’ Dawn Piche’s Ponderosa pine needle, root & driftwood ‘From Forest Floor to Ocean Shore;’ and Christina Munck’s acrylic ‘Bluffs - Quadra Island.’
